REACH 2 ROMANIA

Moldova was originally called Bessarabia and part of Romania. It was annexed by USSR in 1940, and is now an independent republic down the east side of Romania. It is a very poor country, approximately 20 years behind Romania in development. The language was originally Romanian, but modern Moldovan has adopted a lot of Russian words. Russian is recognised as a second language.

LIVE PROJECTS:

This is a new project for us in 2022, led by Remus Trimbitas ad his wife Catea, in the capital - Chisnau. They work for Operation Mobilisation (OM). Outside of OM they are leading a humanitarian program in the villages of Pojareni and Vasieni. They have also helped with transport and accomodation for Ukranian refugees. Our support is financial to the projects outside of OM.
